Congress and the President have enacted the Aviation Investment and
Reform Act for the 21st century, and Section 715 requires the Federal
Aviation Administration (FAA) to make airmen's addresses available
to the public. If you are interested, the pertinent language of the
Act can be viewed on the FAA Civil Aviation Registry website at
http://registry.faa.gov/airmen.htm
                                                                                
The Act also requires the FAA to notify airmen that they may have
their address withheld from industry and others. If you wish to have
your address available to the aviation industry and others, no action
is required on your part. If you choose not to have your address made
available, you may not receive important aviation information from
aviation associations and industry concerning safety, flying
techniques, new products, legislative and regulatory positions, or
aviation-related events. You will continue to receive information
produced and mailed by the FAA. If you do not wish to have your
address made available, send written indication within 60 days of
the date of this ;etter, with your complete name, permanent mailing
address, and FAA certificate number to :

Please be assures that your name, address, and ratings held are the
only information that will be made available if you allow release.
